How Verification Works

This is a private U.S. registry page for artwork verification. Keep personal IDs off the public result view.

What you will show

Code, status, artist name (optional), work title (optional), registration date, and a reference hash (optional).

What does “Registered” mean?

The registry has a stored record for the artwork under a code CGR-XXXX. This is not a government certificate; it’s a private registry record used for verification.

What if a code is not found?

It usually means the code is mistyped, expired, not published yet, or does not exist. Confirm the last 4 characters after CGR- and try again.

What should NOT be displayed publicly?

Do not publish passport numbers, national IDs, addresses, phone numbers, banking info, signatures, or payment data. Keep sensitive data only in internal admin tools.
